Father Of 2-Months-Old Baby Found Dead At Sefwi After Being Reported Missing

Akwasi Broni, a 38-year-old man who was reported missing has reportedly been found dead at Sefwi Aboabo, a suburb of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality in the Western North Region.

According to his family, Akwasi Broni who is the father of a two-month-old baby left home on the 26th of September, 2021, and never returned home. Per his wife’s report, the man went to the farm to get some foodstuffs but never returned.

They waited for several hours but found no trace of him, prompting his wife, Doris Obeng, to alert the rest of the family of his abduction. Kwame Osei, his father, stated that notifications were made at the community’s information center. To inform the assemblyman and opinion leaders, he made a phone call.

Residents of Sefwi Aboabo and other towns searched for days but were unsuccessful until Friday when the already decayed body was located.

The body has been buried at Aboabo after the doctors and police conducted their examination and investigation on the matter. The cause of his demise is yet to be known.
