I Am Disappointed: I Do Not Want To Hear Mahama’s Name Again – Yaa Titi Angrily Speaks Out [Video]

It was a heated discussion on the new episode of the Onua Maakye show hosted by outspoken and firebrand Journalist, Captain Smart. The rant version of the show was dedicated to talk about the level of development in the Northern part of Ghana and how the leaders have constantly failed to deliver their promises to the people in those parts of the country.

Recall, self acclaimed anti-corruption campaigner and activist Captain Smart started an agenda to expose the poor leadership in the northern sector. This agenda received attention and support of the general public who joined him to chastise past and current governments over their failure to implement policies to help the residents of the region.

Earlier today, co-host of the Maakye show, Yaa Titi has launched verbal attacks on former President John Dramani Mahama, and NDC leaders who are natives of the region. Yaa Titi has registered her displeasure and disappointment over Mahama and his erstwhile government to provide better jobs and roads for Northerners.

Speaking further, she indicated that Mahama is a clear disappointment to his brothers in the region because he failed woefully in helping them. According to her, the least expected person to be blamed should not have been Mahama because he was born and bred in those parts of Ghana, and is expected to know the basic challenges they are facing and make efforts to solve them.

She angrily said, “This agenda has really brought many bad things going on there into light. I cannot leave Mahama and Bawumia out of this. How can you who are from that place ignore them. You have disappointed your own people. You bought them pans to do kayaye when you were in power. What a shame that was! I do not want to hear Mahama again.”

Undoubtedly, it is true that the people in the Northern sector have been living in abject poverty. Governments past and present have made several mouthwatering breathtaking promises to improve their lives but have all failed because the promises were purported to score political points. Ghana has had many leaders including a President and a Vice President who have all failed to make good impacts in the lives of the northerners and yet storm there every 4 years for renewal of their political powers.
