‘Why Share MOMO Details For Support If You Are Rich?’- Chris Vincent Tackles Beverly Afaglo For Asking For Help After Her House Was Razed Down By Fire
UK-based Ghanaian lawyer and online journalist, Chris Vincent Agyapong has slammed actress Beverly Afaglo for asking for financial help from the general public hours after her house was razed down by the fire.
The actress whose career has stagnated for a couple of years now had her manager issuing a press statement and soliciting help in the aftermath of the fire that destroyed her house and everything it contained which sadly occurred on Sunday, August 2021.
However, as controversial as Chris Vincent is, he dug up an old video of Beverly bragging about how rich she was and can globetrot all over the world with the money she makes from her chains of businesses and house rentals.
Chris further inflamed passion further with the following argument he projected in relation to the foregoing;
“I love Beverly Afaglo and I feel her pain for what has happened. However, this is what I write about all the time—bragging or lying on social media.
Why do you need donations if you have so many houses in Ghana and you’re fabulously rich? Just move into one of the many houses because it’s really unfair to ask people renting or struggling to pay their rent to donate money to a lady who owns multiple houses just because only one has burnt down.
It’s this Ghana and social media we all dey. Me, everyone knows I am broke and I have nothing—a minimalist even. So one day when I need help, it wouldn’t be difficult.
Why should someone like me, with not even a common land to my name in Ghana donate to a lady who has multiple houses (as she says) because one burnt down? You people should donate to me so I can buy some land at Dodowa too wai!
Let me add this: I was interviewed on Peace Fm yesterday and right after my interview, Beverly was also interviewed—and I was shocked to hear her calling out a momo number and ways people can donate to help her out.
Now this is the conundrum: would you donate to Chris-Vincent the minimalist poorguy, Beverly Afaglo the rich woman with multiple houses in Ghana or to the National Cathedral to aid the President honour his personal promise to Yahweh? —Chris-Vincent Agyapong, the Professional
